The heating has two main aspects. Firstly, the temperature of the underfloor heating is controlled zone by zone. These are adjusted remotely so please do not touch the thermostats. 

The temperature for the rest of the house, not enjoying underfloor heating is controlled by the thermostat in the hallway. This is adjusted remotely so please do not touch this thermostat either.

We ask you to be eco-friendly and keep doors and windows closed when the heating is on.

In the event that the bedrooms or bathrooms are too hot please turn the valves on the radiators clockwise to reduce the temperature in the room.

In the event that the rooms are too cold on a sustained basis then please contact the Housekeeper.

There are two electric portable heaters which may be borrowed from the Housekeeper when weather conditions deteriorate. 

There are two log burning stoves, one in the Old Restaurant and one in the Lounge. There is a supply of wood in the courtyard which you may use.

There are several electric fans available for creating an internal flow of air and cooling effect. These are kept in the Utility Room.
