• There are no outdoor fires allowed anymore in this region which is having a significant impact on air quality. There is no burning of household waste allowed and all waste items need to be taken to the local dechetterie which is a few minutes from Les Remparts.
• The installation of a private electric car charging point will improve emissions from guests visiting Les Remparts.
• The location of Les Remparts is in the oldest, cobbled area of Gensac and therefore is generally free of traffic, parking and car emissions.
• We have planted three trees in the past five years.

Measures that guests can adopt during their stay include:

• Not smoking in the house.
• Walking or cycling wherever possible. It is wonderful to enjoy the clean air with the walking sticks and portable seats provided.
